Orisha Yemoja Feast Day

ILE ASE OTUADI (Temple)

Service Description

Orisha Yemoja is regarded as the "Mother of All" in Yoruba tradition. She is the Orisha of motherhood, fertility, family, and a fierce protector of children. Like the ocean (her dwelling place), if provoked, she can cause destruction, be uncontrollable, and fierce. She nurtures and protects her children with unwavering adoration for them. Yemoja is strong, solid, and requires cleanliness and purity. She is often depicted as a woman holding a fish or as a mermaid. Orisha Yemoja challenges us to go deeper and discover the depths of who we are, much like the depths of her ocean waters. Appeasing Yemoja brings peace and enlightenment. We make offerings to Orisha Yemoja on Saturday and her feast day is September 7th. Join us for a day of veneration, offerings, and community, as we embrace the transformative wisdom of Yoruba tradition. **Participants will receive an email with detailed instructions to prepare for this day. Please adhere to the procedures and protocol for maximum results. Leave the date of your choice and your petition in the "Add Your Message" section when you book! We look forward to assisting you on this journey!** Ase
