Orisha Ochosi is the powerful Orisha of the wilderness, hunting, and justice. He is highly sought after when something of significance has been lost or stolen. Orisha Ochosi is especially skilled at bringing forth justice in unfair legal matters. He can enter into the depths of the wilderness and retrieve lost, stolen, or archived documents, evidence, and or expose hidden truths. This certainly offers an advantage in court cases. Orisha Ochosi is also skilled at exposing and deconstructing deceptive behavior and lies. In fact, the primary Orishas that we work with in our Court Case Work is Eshu, Sango, and Ochosi. They are a powerhouse dynamic. Orisha Ochosi is a fierce hunter and is one the warrior Orishas. During the week we honor him on Thursday, sometimes on Tuesday, and the 4th day of each month. In Ifa, his official feast day is June 16th.
