Service Description

All Souls' Day is the third and final day of the three-day commemoration (All Hallowtide): All Hallows' Eve (October 31st), All Saints' Day (November 1st), and All Souls' Day (November 2nd). This day is a day of solemn prayer, supplication, and remembrance for the souls that have departed from this life. In the Catholic theology, the souls prayed for on this day are believed to be those that are in purgatory, undergoing purification in order to enter into the next phase of the spirit realm. It is believed that the living can assist the dead move through purgatory. This day primarily focuses on deceased loved ones, whereas All Saints' Day primarily focuses on the saints. Prayers made on this day can also assist the souls that have yet to find rest and need it. In the hoodoo tradition, we honor those that have passed on through prayer. The graves have been cleaned, offerings have been made, and we end the three-day commemoration with our final thoughts and prayers. On this day we visit the resting places of our loved ones at cemeteries in and around New Orleans, Louisiana. Join us for a day of veneration, offerings, and community. **Participants will receive an email with detailed instructions to prepare for this day. Please adhere to the procedures and protocol for maximum results. Leave the date of your choice and your petition in the "Add Your Message" section when you book! We look forward to assisting you on this journey!** Ase
